Blake Bortles QB Jacksonville Jaguars : DraftKings - $6,200
30, 27, 4, 21, 26, 8 - these are the scores of the last 6 quarterbacks to face the Oakland Raiders (ESPN standard scoring) the 4 and the 8 are Marcus Mariota and Alex Smith respectively, those low scores are likely their fault. Oakland currently ranks in the top seven in total offense mostly due the fact that they can’t stop anyone! This could easily turn into a shootout with an over under near 50. Bottles is not good at football but he proved last year he can damn good for fantasy football! Marcus Mariota QB Tennessee Titans : Draftkings - $6,000 After taking care of business against a soft Cleveland Defense last week Mariota and the Titans pull another workable matchup in week 7 with Indianapolis. The Colts secondary has allowed just about every QB that they have faced to do whatever they would like to them and this week will be no different. The Titans will employ a balanced attack with a rejuvenated Demarco Murray that will allow Mariota to pick apart the Colts through the air and to a certain extent on the ground. While his yardage may be under 300 for the day I still see three scores through the air and by ground this weekend. Demarco Murray Tennessee Titans : DraftKings - $7,200 The colts defense is fresh off a 4th quarter debacle vs Houston last Sunday night where there surrendered 178 total yards and 2 touchdowns to Lamar Miller. I see no fight in that defensive front and see no reason Murray can’t replicate these numbers if not exceed them! the Colts are Bottom 7 vs. the run and give up 117 yards per game to opposing running backs. Think of this as getting that $9,000 stud for $7,200 - Murray is going to run will on sunday. Jaquizz Rodgers RB Tampa Bay Buccaneers : Draftkings - $4,300 Rodgers has puzzled me throughout his NFL career by looking the part of a starting NFL running back, but then not ever being one. This week he gets another chance to be the lead back against a very weak 49er run defense and he should take full advantage. With his daily cost just about as low as you can get the value that he brings back with be comparable to some of the top names at the position. 120 all-purpose yards and a score are certainly reachable in week 7. Michael Thomas WR New Orleans Saints: DraftKings - $4,700 While I do believe that Brandin Cooks is the most explosive receiver on the Saints I think that Thomas could be the most well rounded and better example of your prototypical WR in today’s NFL. His size and speed allow him to see red zone targets on a weekly basis as he has scored the last 3 weeks in a row. As we all know New Orleans is a pass first offense and with a pretty soft matchup in week 7 I see the Brees and Thomas train hooking up for some good yardage and another score against the Kansas City Chiefs. Allen Robinson WR Jacksonville Jaguars : Draftkings - $7,300 This is my stack of the week. Robinson is due for a monster game and Oakland seems to give those out like candy on Halloween. He’s a must start for daily and is likely to be highly owned. Marqise Lee almost got the nod here at $3,200 as a bit of a contrarian matchup play (Lee not Hurns was second on the team in snap count last week) but its important to have Arob in your DraftKings lineup this week. There is a strong bet he’ll be a part of the top money earning rosters come monday. Kyle Rudolph TE Minnesota Vikings : DraftKings - $3,500 Rudolph has been one of those players on the cusp for a few years and this year the unfortunate injury to Teddy Bridgewater has opened up the opportunity for him to shine. QBs tend to look for that security blanket when they are new in a system and Sam Bradford has certainly found that in the big, quick and sure handed Rudolph. Earlier in the season a matchup against the Eagles may not have been as enticing, but they did just give up 50 yards and a TD to former nursing home resident Vernon Davis so my outlook on Rudolph this week is glowing. I think he grabs 6-7 receptions for 75 yards and a score in week 7. Hunter Henry TE San Diego Chargers : Draftkings - $3,600 Atlanta is a nice matchup for tight ends. They rank in the bottom 5 vs the pass and Henry has established himself as one of Rivers’ favorite targets in this post Keenan Allen world we live in (still salty about that) The matchup here says it all and you can save a few G’s with a guy like Henry. With 12 targets over the past two weeks he’s a good bet for another 6-8 this week one of which should be a touchdown. New England Patriots Defense: DraftKings - $2,900 I know theres some risk with the Pittsburgh offense but… Landry Jones. Thats all I need to say, lets make it 4 Pats d/st starts in a row! Cincinnati Defense: Draftkings - $3,600 I know that the Browns put up some decent numbers against the Titans in week 6, but I think that they will not fare as well in week 7 against the division rival Bengals. Falling behind early the Browns will be forced to throw the ball downfield and that will allow the solid Bengals front 7 to fly to the quarterback causing miscues. I see them sacking the Browns 3-4 times this week with a pick. They may even snag a TD or two from this side of the ball so start with confidence.
