As we come down to the last few games before the fantasy football playoffs, teams need to start finalizing their rosters. Whether it’s through trades or free agent pickups, this is the time of year that can make or break a team. Today I am going to go over a few players that may not have immediate value, but for the owners of the players ahead of them, they need to be owned!
We have seen Bennett have value already as a TE2 this season. He had a huge 3 td game against the Browns in week 5. He hasn’t done much since, mainly due to that Gronk guy coming back. Like we have seen in the past, Gronk does have some injury concerns that come along with his beast-like play. Even with Gronk playing and neering 100% healthy, Bennett is averaging 5 targets per game. If some of those come in the red-zone, he could have stand-alone value as a low end TE1. For now, Bennett just needs to be owned by the Gronk owner, but if there is any sort of time missed due to injury for Gronk, he is a legit top 3 TE.
It’s pretty obvious to everyone that Rawls hasn’t played much this season due to injury. Though, we have seen Rawls play like a RB1 when he’s been in there. Through 12 games last season, Rawls had 830 yards on 147 carries and 4 touchdowns. He added 9 receptions and a touchdown as well. Rawls’ value as a RB1 may not happen unless there is an injury, but if you are a Christine Michael owner, he needs to be added!
The Muscle Hamster, awesome nickname, is trying to get back to 100% health and hopefully for his owners, he gets there. Martin is the lead back in Tampa Bay and there is little argument about that. He is about a week or so away from playing, hopefully it’s sooner rather than later because he is a top 10 back when healthy. If you’re in league where his owner dropped him, go pick him up! For the most part, I would assume he is still owned in your league and if that is the case, make an offer.
