Fantasy Team Name
Off the Wallace
I would be giving up: Adrian Peterson, Heath Miller, and Marques Colston. I would be getting: Doug Martin, Fred Davis, Andrew Hawkins, and Benjarvus Green-Ellis. What do you think?
Thanks for writing in. The big factor with fantasy trade offer is depth. I like Benjarvus Green-Ellis and Doug Martin; the two of them look like a nice two-for-one for Adrian Peterson only if you need the depth. The other guys look to be throw-ins here. Heath Miller is kind of a sell high after last week and while I prefer Fred Davis’ skill set, I prefer Heath Miller’s offensive situation. Ben Roethlisberger is looking for him a lot thus far and that Pittsburgh rushing attack is dead in the water. The goal line looks Miller gets gives him a little more value than Fred Davis at this point. I personally am not impressed with Andrew Hawkins. He has established himself as a decent number 3-4 fantasy football receiver but I still would much rather have Marques Colston.
Without seeing the rest of both rosters I would suggest dropping the receivers from the deal unless you have the depth to weather storm. If you already have a strong number 2 running back by all means keep Adrian Peterson because c’mon – he’s Adrian Peterson! In reality, Adrian Peterson for Green-Ellis and Doug Martin is the deal to be had here but I have no objection to throwing in the other players if that is what it is going to take to get the deal done. Just make sure you have the proper depth at wide receiver before making the deal. Heath Miller for Fred Davis is fair but I do not think you can count on Andrew Hawkins week in and week out just yet.
Hope this helps! Best of luck in week 4 and feel free to write in as much as you like to unlimited fantasy football advice!
