I am sure you have bombed with the above question. Here is my dilemma. I have been offered Miles Austin and Fred Jackson (we all know his situation) for Michael Turner and Robert Meacham.
This is a 12 team league. My Current Running backs and wide receivers are:
Michael Turner (presently)
This is a tough one. I like Austin in this trade but I’m worried about Fred Jacksons’s ability to come back and I’m not sure if Turner is as bad as he has looked in 2 games. Austin for Turner alone sounds good to me but if Jackson sits when he returns my RB situation would be mighty thin. Any insight would be appreciated, Thank you.
Thank you for the email. I would have to say this has been one of the most frequently asked questions this week but it certainly is a legitimate question. I am holding onto Michael Turner in this situation. He has looked pretty rough in his first two games but let’s not forget he almost had two touchdowns last Monday night! The bottom line is this Atlanta offense is prolific and Turner, at least for the time being, is the feature back getting the goal line touches as well. I understand wanting to obtain another receiver with Hakeem Nicks sitting out this week but I think you have just enough depth to weather the storm. With CJ Spiller’s recent success I highly doubt he will give that job back to Fred Jackson without a significant injury occurring. This deal would leave you
hurting badly at the running back position. Hold off for now.
